Mine is not chained (no need for that), but it hasn't been used in t a while. Last fall I put it behind the shed when we had the hurricane to protect it, and put a tarp over it. Mine is a tall skinnier one (set up totally different). It sat there until the spring when I moved it back to the patio where I have that and the BBQ grill.....I was carrying it across the yard when all of a sudden a mouse jumped out of it. It scared the hell out of me and I just dropped the thing down in the middle of the yard. When I opened it, apparently a mouse had made a nest in it over the winter.....In any event, I cleaned it out and put it in the patio again, but never used it this season. |

We'll turn him into a RINO in no time once he grasps what we get for our tax money up here. :)What's amusing about upstate is that no matter what your party affiliation, we're all in the same boat and we know it. You get a WHOLE lot less partisan once you've done some time up here. I only play partisan here because I tire of hearing the partisan and love to poke people in the eye with "opposite day" ... Whenever I stay there though, I don't really miss it....and my phone gets HBO on demand and stuff, so so long as I have an internet connection, I'm fine. They don't get cell phone reception either, but it's nice to get rid of the phone for a few days. If I need to make a call it's just "20 minutes" down the road to town, lol, where cell and 4G (or at least 3G) comes in. |

I was always around "locals" in Vermont, so even though I was considered a "city boy" (even if from Long Island), if you are "with one of their own", the locals accepted. Thanks, the latest info I have on that one is "September 2013".HERE is the latest list of locations (open and not yet open) recruiting franchisees. Scroll down to where you see the blue "UC" on the left side, and you'll see the under construction locations and on the far right side is the estimated open date. Of course, those dates change all the time when things get delayed for whatever reason(s). BTW, they incorrectly list that 60-31 Metropolitan Ave location as "Middle Village". There is another location proposed for 79-41 Metropolitan Ave, which is actually in Middle Village. |

They didn't even scramble the Cable signals in Suffolk until about a year or two ago when they now make you use a box even if you have cable ready TV. I had TV's all over the house, even in the garage before that. And even after IO, you still could get the signal without the box, you just didn't get all the extra channels but it was fine for the garage and less used TV's. |
