An "important thinker" who writes such a crap column that shows complete ignorance of our system of government. |

Perhaps he should pay more attention too.As a result, another vote was overturned and the most important social institution was radically redefined. It was all done by a left-wing judge, a left-wing governor of California and four left-wing justices plus one swing vote on the U.S. Supreme Court. The 5 justices voting to let the lower court ruling stay in place included Scalia and Roberts, + 3 liberals. Sotomayor and Kennedy dissented. So really he should be excoriating Roberts and Scalia for being traitors to their faith, but he isn't. |

A very inapt comparison, at least by Prager's example.Quoting that Islamists will "lose faith" in the electoral process begs the question that it meant anything to them other than as another avenue to power. A more agree with the people who look upon a "democratic election" in a land with no tradition of democracy as "One man. One vote. One time." Prager has made many good points over the years but he is the Right's Tom Friedman: He thinks every observation he makes is divinely inspired. |

Curtis Sliwa used to call him "Mr. Moralty," and that was when they had shows on the same radio station (WOR, I think). |

Better that they're out in the open as an armed opposition than that they are trying to sneak into control of governments Iran-style. |
