"BTW, I first went to school being able to read because my parents taught me how to read."That IS how it WORKS. US media needs to be directed at the objective of making school cool as it was in the early 60s. Even ExxonMobil is pushing "STEM"* education in a huge ad campaign but art, history, culture, and physical conditioning (NOT to be confused with team sports) also need to be pushed. Technically advanced people without moral balance turn out to be Nazis. *STEM= Science Technology Engineering Math. |
