I'd like to know why the ACLU works against Christmas and the religious aspect of the holidays instead of working for the civil liberties of people to be able to say the word Christmas in a public school or give out a candy cane, or show their religious belief of their holiday in a public school.Because those things are already established, there is no need to fight a legal battle to get a ruling that reinforces the status quo. A person's right to free speech and freedom of religion extends to their ability to "to say the word Christmas in a public school or give out a candy cane, or show their religious belief of their holiday in a public school." And lets face it, w/o Jesus, there wouldn't be a holiday season, so there is no reasoning for censoring Christmas. You have really fucked up logic. How is the existence of Jesus supposed to defeat the "reasoning for censoring Christmas?" |
