I did originally mean not that you necessarily said the Tea Party was racist, but instead, didn't criticize when people claimed they were, like you just did when someone said that about the OWS crowd. That was only what I was originally pointing out.I think we are all guilty of it in some way due to our own political biases, me included actually. While I may disagree with with what some right wingers here say, I am probably more quickly to respond when it's a left winger saying it. Probably because we have come so familiar with eachother that we almost know what we are all going to say or think at this point. For example, I actually like a lot of the people I disagree with here. Seriously. Perhaps it's because I really do respect their opinions, even if I totally disagree with them. Can't explain it. For example, when I see RIPTA or Fred, or name a person I often disagree with comment in a thread, before I even click on their post, I sometimes think to myself, "Oh this ought to be good", meaning I know it's going to be a post I totally disagree with coming when I click on it.:) Call me devil's advocate, but I am not nearly as political as I make myself seem here. Seriously. I never think about most of this crap outside of SubChat..... |
