We're just not going to agree! :)IMO we should be ashamed of our guest worker program. For coming here to do the jobs that we won't for wages that are just ridiculous, they should at least get some sort of path to citizenship. They also end up with kids born here yet they aren't legally allowed to stay unless they are working. I think that they do that for 2 years, pay taxes, don't get convicted, and they should automatically get a temporary green card that would allow them to file for citizenship. Or something. Something more than what they get. |
