Who forces them to follow their parents?The Racist State of Alabama, that's who. Did you have a choice where you wanted to live when you were 7-8 years old (or 11-12-13 for that matter) if your parents decided to move for whatever reason? If your parents had been undocumented immigrants from Africa and Africans (and African-looking people) had been targeted by the local Gestapo, would you have been able to stop them from taking you to Burkina Faso when you were 9 even though you are an American? |
