I have previously established my opposition to CP.I'm ambivalent about it. I don't like the idea, but there are certain crimes where it is hard to think of any just alternative: 1) Treason 2) Murder, aggravated by one or more of the following: - murder and rape - murder and torture - murder and robbery - using a firearm or explosives - whilst resisting arrest or escaping from custody - of an on-duty police officer - of a prison officer by an inmate - the second of two or more murders - the clear intent to commit a second murder, for instance due to the first one being motivated by prejudice against a group of people |
