A religon is a system of beliefs.A religion is a system of beliefs. But that doesn't mean that all systems of beliefs are religion, no more than the fact that a lemon is a fruit means that all fruits are lemons... Atheisum is as much based in facts as any other system of belief, Wrong. Atheism is more based on fact than many systems of beliefs, especially religion. because they all center around an answerless question. I can't prove God exists, just as much as they can't prove He doesn't. And that's exactly the problem—for religion anyway, and not at all a problem for atheists. The burden of proof rests squarely on your shoulders. It is not up to us to prove that God does not exist, it is up to believers to prove that he does. In the mean time, we will continue to correctly regard your belief as rubbish that's perfectly fine so long as you don't seek to impose it on others nor insert it into public policy. |
