Crusade means Christ battle

Actually, the root of the word comes from Latin "crux" (cross) rather than "Christos" (CristoV).

Notwithstanding, the cruciform was associated with Christianity by the Catholic Church . . . and "crusading" is something that Christ never commanded, in the writings.
