The point AFAICR is that a stunned animal won't exsanguinate (bleed out) properly. Jewish law emphasizes eating no meat with the blood in it, and this is also important for making certain meat "holy".It's also instantaneous and more humane than stunning. Judaism doesn't consider any meat "holy." |
