According to "Good Cop, Bad Cop", Brentwood went to hell in the 70's. That's where Michael Dowd was from.I find Brentwood to be fine around the LIE exit. When you get close to the railroad station, it goes to hell, and every storefront is either a criminal attorney's office, Iglesia Pentecostal, or one of those 24/hr laundromats. I'd imagine that the people who are making Brentwood bad, rely heavily on public transportation, which explains why the area near the train got so bad. |
