I'm not sure if it applies to the cities, but remember the Southeast has a large population of rural blacks, and these blacks that live in the countryside are far less violent than their urban counterparts.And crime rate is the number of crimes per population of a given race. The crime rate is much lower in the South even given the larger population of blacks there. Even if blacks in Southern cities are more violent than their northern counterparts, it is offset by the more peaceable rural blacks. There is not much Obama or anyone could do the curb the black crime rate in the span of time he's been in office. So far the best solution seems to have been locking up the worst offenders and throwing away the key. Anything better would involve eugenics... |
