This all depends on how welfare reform is implemented. They are some people who, believe me, are really useless for all social purposes—even community work—and it is better that these people are fed and sheltered than out begging or worse committing crimes. Ideally, it would be better if we didn't have these people, but we do, and always will. Welfare form needs to be made in concert with larger eugenic policy that discourages these people from reproducing, so that society has fewer of them. |
