Agreed totally growing up in a era where Welfare was a "cheap fix" for lots of people problems at that...Both my parents worked (my dad two jobs) they made enough for what we needed not what we wanted. When i used to ask my mother why people are buying soo much food with that funny looking paper she sadi.. "Its stuff that they can get and we cant get Son" "I hope you NEVER have to depend on anybody but yourself to do for you" THATS why i value every effing dollar i EARN because i worked for it.. My parents taught me that. |
