I am confident the violent assault and attempted homicide rate will rise accordingly. As for me, I plan to stay far away from Nassau/western Suffolk over the next few months - Bellmore, Massapequa, Wyandanch and Brentwood in particular. I suggest you do the same.I'm planning a trip up north and I'd like to fly Southwest right into Islip. It would be a short trip, mainly for the weekend. I have friends in Brentwood and family in Amityville and Massapequa Park. My cousin still lives just three short blocks from the old Brunswick hospital in Amityville and he's a dedicated runner who has been jogging the streets of that neighborhood and whatever town is just east, for 40 years. My friends in Brentwood are talking about leaving. When there grandmother, who lives 20 minutes away, passes on, I bet that they will move out of state. They actually live in a nice quiet part of that town, a few miles from most of the criminal activity which centers around the train station. You were right about ORD. I bet you miss flying United in and out of there. |
