Third Precinct officers responded to a call of a disturbance at Aquarius Lounge on Suffolk Avenue where Augustin Yepez was stabbed in the parking lot at 1:47 a.m., police said. The North Bay Shore man was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore in a private vehicle prior to police arrival. Yepez was pronounced dead a short time later. No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. Homicide Squad detectives ask anyone with information is asked to call them at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. |
