They are getting closer to Philly, another city once they get there. What the heck do you expect. It would be crazy if the areas near to Philly would be more like NY than Philly.And trust me, once you get 60 miles out on LI, they aren't listening to NYC radio stations either, as we don't even get many of them. We have our own radio stations like WBAB 102.3, WRCN 103.9, etc. Before I had satellite radio I listened to our own radio stations, or CONNECTICUT rock stations like 99.1. And as for NYC Newspapers, why the HELL should New Jersey people that live near Philly not read Philly newspapers. You are comparing apples and oranges here, as what other city other than NYC is near "Montauk" at the dead end of an island? And you don't think it would be odd that New Jersey people near PHILLY wouldn't be routing for the Philly teams? |
