Yeah, the parts about schools were on topic for the other thread. Well not really, but on topic for the thread drift in the other thread. And is he correct? People in LA tell me similar things although they don't make it racial. But I've heard that LAUSD was one of, if not the best school district in the country in the 1950's, 60's and until the mid-70's. No doubt that it is one of the worst now. I live in one of the better LAUSD areas, but I don't send my kids to school here. |
