If a club catering to the Metallica, GWAR, Megadeath crowd were coming to that area, the people would not be too happy.Somehow when I think of NYC, I don't think hard rock/heavy metal. I don't know why... And fuck that shit with political correctness. Let's be honest with ourselves. The hip hop community has a terrible rep and it's well-deserved. Guys write songs about shooting people and laugh about it. Almost every artist has to carry a gun because they are at risk of being shot by a rival for a diss. That attitude extends to the listeners. Unfortunately true. But it's not just the Hip-Hop culture though. Have you seen Jamaica lately? See the Jamaican documentary Made in Jamaica for an idea... |
