That stretch is only light commercial, and was never intended to have anything as busy as a club there. If I lived there, I would oppose it too...even if the police precinct is just a stone's throw away (the 78th is at 6th and Bergen).Also, think about the traffic that it will generate in a residential neighborhood already hurting for parking spaces. |
