Yes, I remember the Triangle Hofbrau. Across the street under the Richmond Hill Train station was the Junction Diner where I used to go as a teenager too. Then of course Jahn's and that Italian Restaurant on the other side of the old RKO Keith's Movie Theater. That Movie Theater is amazing inside, it's been closed since the 1960's but it's like a time warp and a diamond in the rough. It's a flea market/Bingo Hall now but everything is all still there (except for the seats), even the blackened dust filled crystal chandeliers still hang. It's been painted all light off white inside, but until the 90's, it even had the old ornate paint job on the walls. Interesting place. |
