I think that became a Karl Ehmer then closed. GP38 would know that one for sure. Ebbinghaus must have closed in the 70's because I have no recollection of the place. I do remember a German bakery on Seneca at Gates. I also remember a butcher on the SE corner, but I don't think it was Ebbinghaus. Manor Oktoberfest is the name of the restaurant owned by Manor Deli on Jamaica Ave. I have not tried either of his two restaurants. Zum Stammtisch is good. I was there twice last year.
