Is that supposed to be an insult? The people would Wyandanch themselves would probably prefer to live in The Hamptons.It's not an insult at all, but it is what it is, it's not the greatest of neighborhoods. I am sure the there wouldn't live there either if they could be elsewhere. Most of them don't want to be there either. But it's an observation. Lots of white people like to talk the talk, but when it comes down to it would never live in a neighborhood like Wyandanch. (I wouldn't either, as it's high crime). I live in a mixed neighborhood, and it's fine for me, but it's not really high crime, it's just mixed. Wyandanch is pretty high crime. But I guarantee many white liberals would never live in my neighborhood either however. |
