Muslims surely do -- in fact all religions do. That is the hallmark of religion, each claims to have the irrevocable truth as told by God (or gods, gurus, spirits, or whatever) and are held inscrutable to facts.I certainly wasn't trying to defend Islam, and in fact I'll say it here: the teachings of Islam are bullshit, based on myths and the ramblings of one "prophet"/crazy conqueror (which always amazes me when Islam is supposedly "peaceful" when it was forged in war by a militaristic dictator). |
