Life is an accident of chemistry

And what an amazing accident it was.

This is why I embrace Deism. All that is required is the acceptance of an all powerful Creator and that there is a plan

Why is this rationally required? The sciences, such as cosmology, physics, chemistry, biology and evolutionary psychology explain how we got here and how the universe came to be how we see it. What is the rational need of a creator on top of this?
