They should do like the Americas Cup and keep the tournament in the country of the defending champion.That would bring serious organizational issues. For most of their history, places like Brazil and Argentina did not have the financial resources or political stability to pull off such a thing. The America's Cup only needs one good city with one good marina. Also global interest (with travelling fans, media etc) is limited for that. |
