This goes to show the superiority of European soccer to South America's.Uruguay got into the semis by beating an Asian and African team then loses against Holland. Brazil got into the quarters by beating a fellow South American team, then loses to Holland. Paraguay got into the quarters by beating an Asian team then lost to Spain. Argentina got into the quarters by beating a CONCACAF team and then lost to Germany. Even in group stages, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil couldn't beat the disappointing France, Italy and Portugal. |
