Did you know that there were 15-20 million Native Americans in the US when the Europeans first came and that within 80 years half of them were gone? Within 100 years after that 90% of them were gone. An entire civilization decimated by imperialism and disease. Even today 400 years later there are less than 3 million native americans. Less thna 20% of what there used to be. |
