You're putting words in my mouth. The redneck symbolizes the modern republican party and its "base." Yaknow ... the "REAL America" which is perpetually portrayed by the party base itself. I don't know if they're all racist, but the externalisms certainly portray "trailer park." Do you think the William Buckleys or George Wills of the world will show up for any of these? :)
