Poor Joe Torre - he hasn't been to the World Series since 2003 and the Dodgers are still waiting for their first visit since 1988.I believe that is the fourth longest dry streak behind the Cubs (1945), the Pirates (1979) and the Orioles (1983). If the Angels don't come back, they will extend their streak of not winning the A.L. Pennant after winning the A.L. West. |
