The 'cred' factor may have more to do with it than anything else. If not gangs then the gang mentality is a big part of the problem.The old Italian mafia was a gang as bad as any today. But they kept to themselves and had the good sense to shoot each other in an efficient manner. No drive bys, no shooting up of private parties, etc. |
