The idea that everyone should have a gun so that they can shoot the bad guy is insane.I disagree. What is insane is expecting good guys to be helpless against bad guys. If it were up to me, after passing a rigorous civics and safety exam, every law-abiding student would get a voter card and a free government issued handgun at HS graduation and every naturalized citizen would get the same after taking the oath of citizenship. |
