Years ago (in the 60's) the best pizza on Long Island was the Sicilian at the old Hempstead Bus Terminal.
Now I'd say it's a toss up between Pietro's sesame seed crust pizza and Borelli's, both in East Meadow. Of course if you include Brooklyn as being part of Long Island I'd have to say Spumoni Gardens.
