Wyandanch doesn't seem to come off as too bad, although obviously it has problems based on the article.That's because Wyandanch is being compared to all of NY State. Long Island as a whole isn't all that bad crime wise comparing to other regions. Even some of the worst areas of Long Island (like Hempstead, Wyandanch, etc), still aren't as bad as "bad neighborhoods" in other regions. |
