Greenport does indeed have a dingy area just north of their 'downtown' strip along Main Street, Rt. 25 ('downtown' in Greeport means the waterfront area adjacent to the LIRR station/Shelter Island ferry slip).Once you get up to 25A you will see that the area becomes more upscale and scenic. |
