Yes, I heard about this. It was a domestic violence case, in which the cops were called to. While this wasn't a good guy by any stretch, it wasn't attempted murder, as apparently, the guy didn't actually shoot the cop, but the gun went off when it fell to the ground. They will probably be able to slap reckless endangerment on the guy, as well as illegal possession of a weapon, but I don't think he will get attempted murder.That said, the cop is very lucky to be alive. 1818 Menahan St is probably between Onderdonk Ave and Woodward Ave. |
