Per the Bureau of Labor Statistics, March 2008 Compensation Report, -11% of union workers get 14 or more paid holidays 10% of workers in companies with >100 employees get 5 weeks vacation after 5 years service (18% after 10 years) 5% of all union workers get 5 weeks vacation after 5 years service (9% after 10 years) So, while Stella D'Oro is on the high end, I would not say they are egregiously out of line. I would be interested in how this compares with MTA benefits. |
