According to what we read, this is the brand's only factory; it's right near 238 St station on the 1 route. Based on an earlier story, Brynwood Partners (the owner) wanted wage cuts in the neighborhood of $5/hour and pension/benefit givebacks too.I imagine that the brand will continue; it's a very valuable asset. And what did that union gain? Nothing. More like less than nothing, so far. We'll see where the new factory is going to be. |
