Please, you are totally exaggerating.People who grew up on Long Island, remember better times. For someone like you, who grew up in Ridgewood, and moved out there later on, you don't remember the good 'ol days. Uhm, while I grew up in Ridgewood, my mother is from Suffolk Country and my whole family was always out here, and spent just about every weekend, school break weeks off, and the entire summer every year at my cousin's house and Grandmother's house. I know long Island very well all through the 70's, 80's, 90's and to today, so know perfectly well "the good ole days". And yes, we have had fried chicken places out here since before the 70's. |
