The issue is that the Republicans won!
The issue is that the conservatives won.
The issue is that President Bush won!
The issue is that you whine and kick and cry and can't get over it.
The issue is your side lost

No, those are not the issues. Can't stick to the point, can you? And who is "my side"? Getting back to the issues:

  • "Winning" is invalid when the tactics are invalid.
  • The "war on liberals" (which includes labeling anyone who criticizes Bush/PNAC a "liberal") has taken on more importance than the "war on terror".
  • Bush's tax cuts are not improving the economy, but sending it into the abyss.
  • Bush's borrowing from foreign countries (including Communist regimes, incidentally) is a danger to our national security.
  • The southern borders being wide open is most likely allowing more terrorists to slip through—and when they get their orders, we won't be ready.
  • Given the pork in all the spending bills Bush has signed, there is no conservatism going on in DC.
  • "Liberals" are not the enemy; and until the Neoconservatives stop treating them as the enemy (this includes non-liberals thus labeled "liberal"), the country will remain divided, and our safety remains in jeopardy.

Tell us again what you won? It'll seem like a hollow victory before long, I suspect. As it stands, you seem like a symptom of the country's illness.
