Life expectancy has nothing to do with who has a better healthcare system.Fine, what are the criteria associated with a better health care system? There are countries other than the U.S. with lower life expectancies which also have a socialized healthcare system, like Denmark, Ireland, Mexico and that paragon of socialism, Cuba (won't see that in Moore-on's "Sicko"). Actually, Denmark and Ireland now have longer life expectancies at birth, according to the CIA. no one is defending the status quo in America, Chris and I are just attacking one solution (single payer socialized medicine). Which solution are you proposing? N.B. despite your stated dislike of the status quo, I equate "none of the above" to the status quo. |
