Maybe white men find black women attractive, but are afraid to approach them. But it's obvious that black male/white female combos are far more commoon than white male/black female.White male/asian female could be the most popular interracial combo. According to government estimates black male/white female marriages outnumber white male/black female ones by about 3:1. This ratio has been largely unchanged all the way from the 1990 Census to estimates made within the last few years. Among couples living together outside of marriage, the ratio is more like 10:1. One bit of caution, the federal government is inconsistent in the way it classifies Hispanics, and some non-insignificant share of the white women married to/living with black men may actually be Hispanic. If the black women who comment in the blogosphere are representative of their group as a whole, the reason why white male/black female marriages and relationships are uncommon is not so much that white men find black women unattractive, but rather that black women find white men unattractive.
