It is kind of interesting to hear what many white people really think about race. But also disappointing.And if whites really wanted to better the genetic stock shouldn't they be marrying Asians? In California Asians are less than 10% of the population, but take a staggering number of the spots at the top universities. Almost half. I wouldn't necessarily say that many white people share these racial attitudes. It's probably just a very small percentage, but the fact that they use the blogosphere as a sounding board makes their numbers seem much larger than they really are. As for Asians, some bloggers are willing to give them a "pass" and have coined the term NAM, for Non-Asian Minority. My LIRR/NYCT blog |
