I agree with everyone that says that the economy lost him the election, but without Palin even Republicans weren't that interested in McCain.Republicans may not have been enthusiastic about McCain, but most would have voted for him anyway as a vote against Obama. Without Palin and Wurzelbacher on board, independents would have been more easily swayed. The GOP made the mistake of pandering to thier base instead of swaying independents. |
