The fire triangle must be complete or there can be no fire. As for titanium, it can act as an oxidizer, and release 02, when burning.Elements and compounds with low flash points still need some heat to get them going...and to continue burning. If we put water on the fire, we take away heat, if we smother the fire, we take away oxygen, or if we take away the fuel (whether that be liquid, gas or solid)the fire will go out. Even "cold fire" isn't really cold, you know... |
