The fact that something was done for time immemorial is no reason to keep doing it.A lot of people talk about the "sanctity" of marriage. If marriage is sacred, it should be NO business of the government. The obvious solution is to have gay civil unions...and straight civil unions. Want to get married? Do it in some phony-baloney church...or SYNAGOGUE. |
