Other than The Lone Ranger I think my favorite radio show was The Lux Radio Theatre where they dramatized popular movies of the day.Our whole family listened to the Lux Radio Theatre together, at 9PM on Monday nights. I don't know how to explain it, but radio had something that TV never had. I think it was that you could hear the sounds, but you had to picture the scene in your own mind. It made you think. |
