If you're talking about the neoconservatives, IIRC they voted against embryonic stem cell research, with new embryos. There is more than one type of stem cell that gets researched, you know.It isn't a generalization, I already posted who "they" are. And yes, conservative is a generalization here, but all of those people who voted against it are conservative, even if not all conservatives voted against it. You need to stop getting your six-year-old "news" off the World Socialist Website. Perhaps you are unaware that the 10 PPB level has to have been complied with by January 2006 and the 50 PPB level is no longer in force? If you don't believe me, then believe the EPA. Who was in favor of the higher level in the first place? And you'll never find a justification for Jerky Mike's outburst. I wasn't, because it was unjustified in regard to Tony Snow. I was pointing out something that's worse. Objectionable speech is nothing, actions speak louder than words. |
