I hope your remark was simply a transference of anger at President Bush to his subordinate, and that you didn't really mean what you said.My guess is that you've never experienced seeing and living with a person suffering from cancer. If you had, you wouldn't make this remark. Let me give you just one example. I lost my mother to cancer a year ago. The disease took a happy, outgoing 75 year old grandmother of three and in nine short months, turned her into a shrunken, bald, misshapen, twisted shell who couldn't walk, or speak, or even urinate on her own. Her suffering was beyond comprehension, because not only did she know she was going to die, and soon, but she had no dignity in her remaining days. No one, except Adolf Hitler, deserves this kind of fate. And you're wishing it on him simply because of his job and his political ideology. Has Tony Snow ever harmed you personally? I hope you didn't mean it. Because if you did, then you're worse than an asshole - you're ignorant too. |
